Cookie Policy

Cookies and website features

Cookies are small files that a website can store in your browser. They can support features such as keeping an authorised user signed in.

WordPress administrator access

Our website uses WordPress. WordPress sets authentication and preference cookies when an authorised administrator signs in. These support website administration. Visitors who do not sign in do not receive them.

Enquiries, quotations and client access

Our enquiries and quotations are handled at portal.milestoneaccountants.co.uk. The quotation page displays that portal within this website, and the enquiry links open it.

When the portal is shown or opened, it sets two cookies that are strictly necessary for its forms to work: a session cookie, which keeps your answers together while you complete the form, and a security cookie (XSRF-TOKEN), which protects the form against misuse. They are short-lived, are not used for tracking or advertising, and cannot be switched off without stopping the forms from working.

The portal’s forms also load their typeface from Google Fonts. Your browser therefore connects to Google, which receives your IP address and browser details to deliver the font. Google Fonts does not set cookies. Please read the portal privacy notice for more information about that service.

Analytics and advertising

We do not currently use Google Analytics or advertising pixels on this website. We will update this notice, and ask for your consent through a preference control, before introducing any optional analytics or advertising technologies.

Your browser settings

You can manage or clear cookies through your browser settings. Blocking cookies may affect sign-in, the quotation form or other features that depend on them.
